Spanning 33 chapters by leading scholars, the volume maps how mineral-producing societies assert control over their resources \u2014 across oil and gas, platinum-group metals, tin and nickel \u2014 and what this means for development, sovereignty and the politics of the energy transition. The editors introduced the book, followed by a discussion led by Lauren Risi.
